Good Stocks

We've said it before, let's say it again:

- Whole Foods
- P&G

Quality, quality, quality.

The 50%-off club: a way to get into good names. These are stocks well off their highs (not necessarily 52-week highs).

For example:

- Corning (GLW)
- Motorola (MOT) - regaining the lead in its industry. Zander is a good leader. Not shackled by the semi division anymore
- EMC: down 86% from its high. Maybe that high was exaggerated, but this is a good stock
- Broadcom (BRCM)
- Well looky looky: Yahoo (YHOO). Benefiting from SBC (partner) lowering DSL rates.

Best Buy gets a look here: management is listening and fixing problems. New store layouts are working.
