Canadian Myopia

Over the last few weeks almost every Canadian I've met has espoused the same, reliably left-of-center view of American politics and denunciation of the Iraq war. Yet none of them expressed an interest in watching the presidential debates (perhaps the one chance Canadians might have to form an unbiased opinion of the current president's mental acuity). Frustrating.
