Story Idea

First of 2005, I think. Came to me last night when I awoke suddenly in the middle of a dream. In this story the protagonist is the unintended recipient of a dream destined for someone else. Although the characters feel familiar, he's never seen/met any of them before, and becomes obsessed with tracking down the true 'owner' of the dream.
