DNRs and Hand-to-Hands

The Wire, Season 2 - I'm catching up on it now and blown away at the craft, the raw realism of this epic. It's been great at stoking the creative fires, as I consider the methods by which this series creates compelling, multi-layered characters who live on in the mind long after they leave your screen.
